Tell us a little (or a lot) about your home and the people who live there:My husband and I wanted to make our new apartment as cozy as possible while still being stylish. We just moved out of an apartment that we lived in together for four years and where I lived with a roommate before that for another four years. We had accumulated furniture that we combined from living separately coupled with stuff my old roommate left behind, and we needed to purge our post-college hodge-podge aesthetic. We took this new apartment as a way to really invest in some quality pieces and truly make it a home that reflected where we were at this stage in our lives.

I very much love the bohemian style but my husband loves mid-century modern pieces and we both love color but we also love black and leather. I would best classify our apartment as city boho.

Describe your home’s style in 5 words or less:Bohemian, Eclectic, Transitional

你最喜欢的房间是什么,为什么?My favorite room would have to be our bedroom. It’s the space that holds our memories on picture ledges, and it’s where we spend Saturday mornings snuggled up with our dog.

What’s the last thing you bought (or found!) for your home?A new World Market computer chair in a beautiful peacock blue inspired byClassyCasita’s office makeover!

Any advice for creating a home you love?Function always came first for me and then aesthetics. Make sure your space best functions for you instead of focusing on making it Pinterest-worthy.
