The industrial lighting trend doesn’t seem to be going anywhere fast. A few old timey Edison bulbs, brass joints and a matte black finish go a long way to add some serious style above a dining table or entryway.

The past few years has seen a huge resurgence in sputnik chandeliers, but they’ve taken on a completely new, modern aesthetic, like this one from Mercer41 you can pick up for less than $150.

There’s nothing “square” about this cube-shaped chandelier. It would be beautiful in a foyer to set the tone for the rest of your home.

Another fabulous sputnik chandelier, another fabulous day. Jonathan Adler knows how to do modern Hollywood Regency, and the mix of black, white and antiqued brass here makes for a truly timeless piece.

Please, someone put this over their dining room table and email me a photo. I’d greatly appreciate it. The tube lights beautifully extend the delicate lines of the fixture’s frame, creating what I can only refer to as a glorious adult version of Pick-Up Sticks.

Blown glass, antiqued brass and frosted bulbs come together to form a modern wagon wheel-inspired beauty from luxury home brand Arteriors.

Linear chandeliers easily find their home over a long rectangular dining table or kitchen island, and if you swoon over the mix of warm industrial and cool contemporary, look no further than this RH Modern light.
