Can you guess the most popular color in the entire world? Dulux Paints conducted a survey and found that 42 percent of males and 30 percent of females have the same favorite color. Find out which colors are the world’s favorite and the least liked. The most popular color in the world is blue. The second favorite colors are red and green, followed by orange, brown and purple. Yellow is the least favorite color, preferred by only five percent of people.

The Dogs that Run Venice

An IKEA Home for Chickens
In The New Yorker, Susan Orleans wrote about her experience raising chickens in upstate New York. Her article explained the raising popularity of chickens as pets, and mentioned this chicken coop hacked from IKEA items. Can you guess which IKEA pieces have been used? Modern Fainting Sofas

Loi Thai’s Calm, Neutral Home
The Washington Post features the lovely home of Loi Thai, co-owner of Bethesda furnishings store Tone on Tone. The former cramped, dark house was renovated over 18 months into an open, airy, light-filled space. FOX News Anchor Bret Baier’s DC House
The Washington Post features the Northwest DC home of Bret Baier, his wife Amy, and their two-year-old son. The house is filled with furnishings from Ralph Lauren Home. Ceiling Height: How High (or Low) Could You Go?
Eight-foot ceilings used to be standard but many new DC condo buildings now boast ceiling heights of at least 10 feet. Ra’ed and David lowered the ceiling in their contemporary condo, accentuating the ceiling with midnight blue paint (shown here). Tiny Paris Apartment for 4 + Dog
Almost every item is hidden, including the fridge, to keep the clean, white design of the space as open as possible. The children, aged 8 and 11, sleep on a bunk bed and keep their toys in hidden cupboards. The dog is a big, black Labrador named Scott who photographs very well in the white apartment.The father, Cyril Aouizerate, lived in this space alone before having a family. He bravely turned it into a home for his family of four and a dog!
