Got a spare $11.25 million hanging around? Then you can officially hang your hat where Barbra did. Well, if you can get by the co-op board first.

Barbra Streisand’s former 3,672-square-foot home on Central Park West hasofficially hit the market, and the 9-room penthouse is the picture of Manhattan luxury. It’s no wonder that Babs lived here for over 30 years.

由著名建筑师埃默里罗斯,设计基于“增大化现实”技术t deco Ardsley building has a prime location on Central Park West. Filled with sunlight, the massive apartment, which is on the top two floors of the 22-floor building, has tall ceilings that range from 10 to 12 feet throughout. Step off the private elevator into the inviting entry gallery, which leads into the living room with a wood burning fireplace, and a stylish dining room. There’s also two bedrooms and two bathrooms on the main level, as well as a cozy TV den and corner library. (According to theNYT, this once housed Barbra’s hair salon.) An elegant staircase, on which we can clearly imagine Barbra cascading up while holding her cloned dog, leads to the sprawling master bedroom suite. A wood-burning fireplace surrounded by marble, large windows, and enormous terrace (with a separate entrance for entertaining) are just a few of its beautiful accents.

If entertaining is your game, the home could easily hold 100 guests. (That’s one way for the 450-bottle wine closet to come in use!) And in addition to the 3,672 square feet of interior space, there’s 2,500 square feet of terraces that wrap the property, in case you want to take in the majestic views of New York City, including the reservoir and Central Park. The building also has a fitness center, children’s playroom, two bike rooms, lending library, and plenty of storage space.

Before Barbra graced the property with her presence, it was known as the home of lyricist Lorenz Hart. But you know who doesn’t live there? Mariah Carey, who reportedly offered $8 million cash, but was rejected by the co-op board, according to the不w York Times. Sorry, Mimi.
