Tell us a little (or a lot) about your home and the people who live there:Between these walls is where we live, work, do projects… where we spend most of the time. We are Xavi and Ignasi, and we recently embarked on a double path together: the professional and the sentimental. In our job as decorators, stylists, and floral designers atL’Intrépide Studio, everything is always organized and thought out.

我们began to work with the existing plan to respect the original textures of the bare walls, providing light to the space with the help of white or dramatizing rooms with the contribution of color. Then we wanted to bring comfort with the textiles and textures like velvet curtains, wool cushions, cashmere blankets, linen tablecloths.

我们are inspired by many things such as colors or textures, but above all it is the history behind each of the objects and furniture that excites us and the thought that it is not only us who will possess them — only during a time oftheirlife we will have them.

我们认同所有的混合物。在我们的work, we play continuously with different styles, sometimes more classic and charged and others more contemporary and lightweight. And many times we end up mixing everything. Flowers, small objects, textures and materials combine to make sense of everything. You can take a look at our work at@lintrepidestudioand@lintrepideinterieurs.

你最喜欢的房间是什么,为什么?Our favorite room is the studio. The spectacular original ceiling from the 19th century, with its moldings, its painting, and its details in gold leaf, is what made us fall in love with the apartment the first time we saw it.

What’s the last thing you bought (or found!) for your home? The last piece we acquired was a ’50s ice cube shaped like a pineapple. We bought it in an auction in Barcelona, and now it is part of a small collection with other pineapples in the liquor cabinet in our dining room.
