Before and After: A Wonderful White Kitchen Makeover
Kate (from Centsational Girl) recently saw her friend’s kitchen remodel for the first time. Although this family originally had grand visions for a new kitchen, they ultimately pulled back, skipped the architect, and decided to save money instead. They kept the current layout and put their time and budget towards making their kitchen reflect their own tastes and lifestyle.
From Kate:Over the weekend I popped in to visit some good friends, Dino and Heidi. They had been considering a kitchen remodel for years and they finally went ahead and did it!
They felt the cabinets were dark and bulky and the granite countertops were not their taste. The couple researched for months what they wanted for this space, they even considered hiring an architect to move walls, but in the end decided to save money by maintaining the old footprint and upgrading the space with new cabinets, tile, and appliances.
