I’m going to share something with you, dear reader, that comes as no big surprise to those who know me: Iloveblankets. As someone who looks forward to the colder months of the year, I revel in pulling out myfavorite throwsand dressing my home (and body) in their warmth all season long. In fact, whether it’s bundling up at my desk or cuddling up on the couch, it’s rare that I go a day without wrapping myself up in a blanket. So when I started hearing chatter about one particular throw being touted as “the best blanket you will ever own,” I knew I needed to test it out. The blanket in question? The ChappyWrap.

柔软的棉混纺,制成ChappyWrap毯子feature a jacquard weave to help prevent yarn breakage, making them extra durable. As far as looks go, each ChappyWrap has a reversible design, offering two chic New England-inspired patterns to let you switch things up as you please. These blankets also come in a variety of sizes, with standard blankets measuring in at a healthy 60 by 80 inches.

There were a couple of things that immediately struck me when I first tried the ChappyWrap blanket. First and foremost, it is extremely soft — a you’ll-audibly-say, “Wow, this issoft”kind of soft. As soon as you unfurl it and wrap yourself up, you can tell that a lot of attention went into the design of the blanket. Not only is it super cozy, but it also has something I call a “Goldilocks weight” — it’s not too thick and nowhere near too thin. In fact, while admiring the blanket’s thickness, I couldn’t help but think to myself that this would be an amazing picnic blanket, making it something that I could see myself using year-round, and thus, a win in my book.

Another great plus about this blanket? It’s washer and dryer safe, so you bet I’ll be giving outdoor use a go come picnic season. I’m happy to report that my ChappyWrap hasn’t pilled, shrunk, or lost its softness after a wash and dry — my biggest pet peeve when it comes to blankets. I also adore that the company isa mother-daughter operationthat came about when the duo was inspired to recreate a family heirloom blanket that could be enjoyed by families everywhere.

ChappyWrapsare available in a variety of colors and sizes, from tiny baby blankets to oversize throws big enough to fit a king-size bed, with the standard-size blanket starting at $135. While they may fall on the pricier end of the spectrum, I think their versatility makes them a worthwhile investment. As far as whether or not this will be the best blanketyouwill ever own, I’ll let you find out for yourself.
