I Used a Dishwasher Tablet to Clean My Microwave and It Was So Impressive

Once the dishwasher tablet solution was cool enough, I grabbed amicrofiber clothand soaked it in the solution. I squeezed out the rag so that it was fairly wet but not dripping. At this point, I got to work wiping out the interior of the microwave. Working top to bottom, I started with the “ceiling” of the microwave. Next, I worked on the sides and the back wall, starting at the top on each surface.I spent extra time where I needed to on some trouble spots, but never had to scrub too hard to get the caked-on grime off. I finished by wiping out the bottom.

During the wipe-down, I rinsed out the rag with clean water at the sink, then soaked the rag in the solution again before continuing. I was quite surprised by how dirty the rag got, and this made me realize, in addition to the cleanliness of the microwave, how much dirt the solution was lifting from the microwave interior. When I was done wiping, I dried the microwave with a towel to prevent water streaks. The microwaveshone.

Needless to say, I was not disappointed with the dishwasher tablet method of cleaning out the microwave. The interior was coated with grease splatters that had been repeatedly baked on, which happens to most microwaves quite quickly, and the dishwasher tablet solution melted the microwave mess with ease.

Two impressive dishwasher tablet solution cleaning sessions later, I know that I have an effective, if unusual, option for tackling difficult kitchen messes, whatever they are. I can’t wait to find my next mess to tackle with my trusty dishwasher tablet.
