I met Jake,Founder of Electric Objectslast month and I was completely taken with the story of his budding company. He visited our office and gifted us with the EO1, their first digital display product. Set up in our lobby, the “art machine” (as playfully named by the AT employees) became a conversation piece and constant source of enjoyment. Using our own playlist, the screen would switch from a gif of Drake’s “Hotline Bling” music video to da Vinci’s Mona Lisa and a wide variety of photography and graphics in between.

On the day of the launch, an Electric Objects team member came to our office to replace our EO1 with the brand new EO2, and it was clear that this second product was even better than the original. With its variety of frames (we chose walnut!), a 1080p HD display, and ambient light sensor, the EO2 is sleeker than ever. We connected it to our wifi and put a playlist together on the EO app in no time.

Tuesday also marked the launch of Art Club, Electric Objects’ art discovery service. Art Club has pieces created specially for EO2 that were curated by the company and their partners, and even includes classic artwork from museum collections. Your first month on Art Club is only $9.99 a month — and with its 20,000+ pieces to browse it is an absolute must-have if you own one of these displays.

Get your own todayand see how you can truly live with art and change it with your mood like you would a song. Art should be accessible and something we can feel free to talk about, regardless of knowledge or bank accounts. And it makes for the ideal gift — no more guessing what kind of artwork your recipient actually wants on his or her walls!
