Here’s HGTV Home by Sherwin-Williams’ 2024 Color of the Year

HGTV Home by Sherwin-Williams has unveiled its 2024 Color Collection of the Year, and the shades are sure to bring some stillness and tranquility to any space.

Aptly named theRenewed Comfort Color Collection, these ten shades work together in perfect harmony to bring a collection of calm neutrals and gentle, bright shades that can be used alone or in tandem to create a rejuvenated space full of character and warmth without being too overwhelming.

“The Renewed Comfort Color Collection is restful and restorative with an expressive touch to showcase unique personal style – bringing a sense of comfort into the home with a new, refreshed outlook,” said Ashley Banbury, curator of the HGTV Home by Sherwin-Williams colors of the years, in a press release. “The shades in our 2024 Color Collection of the Year feel familiar and dependable, yet versatile, with the ability to be reshuffled to create a custom look for your home.”

At the forefront of the Renewed Comfort Color Collection is HGTV Home by Sherwin-Williams’ standalone color of the year —Persimmon (HGSW6339). A gorgeous terracotta shade with tangerine undertones, this summer-forward shade is synonymous with European rooftops. Bringing rich warmth to interiors, Banbury suggests incorporating this shade into living rooms and kitchens.

Sticking with earth tones,Softer Tan(HGSW6141) will bring a soft golden glow to any space and is a lighter spin on a traditional tan hue, whileFriendly Yellow(HGSW6680) is a subtler take on the classic sunshine shade. Leaning into the gentle brights trend of the colors of years collection, this yellow is perfect for adorning any room that needs a little extra boost without being too bold.
