We Want to Buy Everything from Leanne Ford’s New Crate & Barrel Collection, But Especially That Bed
HGTV star Leanne Ford isn’t afraid to put amodern twiston traditional elements of the home, and her new furniture collection filled with neutral colors (lots of white!) and natural materials proves that to be true.
The Pittsburgh interior designer and TV personality has teamed up with Crate & Barrel to bring her dream furniture line to fruition, reflecting her sense of style molded by modern livability and natural influences. “I grew up with every style of home and building around me, all while being able to walk out my door and go play in the woods,” Ford says in aninterview with Crate & Barrel.
And this upbringing shows within her new collection; light and dark woodwork, lots ofgorgeous caning, and all neutrals that create a consistent aesthetic among the pieces.
It’s all meant to stand the test of time, and can live harmoniously with a variety of other styles. “I wanted these pieces to be around forever. The more they’re lived with, the better they get,”says Ford.
Like theCanyon Canopy Bed, her own modern take on the classic. The barrel-shaped frame adds dimension and originality to the piece while also keeping it as a canvas for others to dress up through draping, bedding, and pillows.
And per usual, Ford didn’t shy away from using white. The collection is filled with light pieces like thisaccent chair, pedestal side table, and gorgeousslipcovered sofa, which Ford describes “like your favorite T-shirt” since it’s “slouchy and relaxed.” But most of the furniture comes in black, too, if you prefer the dark side.
