Name:JasonColleen Wachob, ofmindbodygreen
Location:Dumbo -
Size:1,751 square feet
Years lived in:8个月,拥有

After back injuries left him in excruciating pain in 2009, Jason Wachob began his yoga practice…and was encouraged by the positive, powerful, life-improving effects. This change sparked an interest in living a more balanced, holistic lifestyle. “It was a real awakening for me,” he confesses. He founded the wellness websitemindbodygreenlater that year. Considering the huge audiences mindbodygreen reaches online and on social, it’s clear their message has resonated.

When he and his wife Colleen (who is a founding partner and the chief brand officer at mindbodygreen), were on the hunt for a new home, they looked for a place that would match their personalities, function for them space-wise, and also nourish them in other ways. The airy Brooklyn home they’ve owned for eight months invokes a sense of calm for the young family, while also honoring the cool vibe of the new Brooklyn building.

“Every piece in our space holds significance or tells a story,” Jason explains. Notable elements like sky-high ceilings, a generous lineup of plants, and colorful artwork blend easily with a modern and minimal style. But again, it’s not just about looks — how the spacefeelsis a vital element to the couple. So they also worked with a Feng Shui specialist,达娜·克劳达特(Dana Claudat),以确保良好的空间流程。

Our Style:Brooklyn Bohemian Sanctuary

(Dana Claudat)

Plants. They not only improve the air quality, but it makes us feel like we have some nature in the urban jungle.

Biggest Challenge:

What Friends Say:Your apartment feels like a real home.

Biggest Embarrassment:Blue Tape of things we are still working through on our punch list.

Best Advice: “Only keep what brings you joy.” – Marie Kondo
