Panama City is a place of contrasts. And the Cinta Costera neighborhood is very modern, with the best views in the city. The Pacific Ocean is right in front of your eyes (you can almost jump in and take a dip!). Pilar has the incredible luck of waking up everyday with these views—as well as living in the colorful, playful home she’s created.

Pilar wanted a calm, relaxing place where she could work, have fun and enjoy entertaining friends. Strong colors like pink mix with warm-toned walls to create a well-appointed space. It’s also a functional home, full of natural light and personality.

Pilar herself is charismatic, always with a big smile on her face. Her home is just like her, with a vibrant, happy and optimistic atmosphere. And of course, when you walk out to the terrace, the views are just breathtaking.

Inspiration:A lot of things; nature, music, travels…

Favorite Element:I can’t choose just one! But I think everything on the terrace.

What Friends Say:They love the energy of this house and of course, the view.

Biggest Embarrassment:The walls are not very well painted.

Biggest Indulgence:Working in the living room; the sea view is so relaxing and calm.

Best Advice:Not to be afraid of the budget. You can find really nice things with a little money.
