Welcome toHudson Woods, a community located just two hours from New York City that encompasses 131 serene acres of the Hudson Valley. Here, as the development’s creators rightfully proclaim, is “where design meets nature.” Very thoughtful of the architects to construct this entire community based on my hopes and dreams, don’t you think? There’s justone available dwelling leftamong the 26-home development, and atjust$1.18M, I think this residence is worth every cent of the fake money I do not actually have.

家里的现代经典的尖顶cabin stuns with its floor-to-ceiling windows, sleek wraparound deck, and crisp cerulean pool. Glancing at the roaring fire of the living room’s wood burning stove, the line between indoors and outdoors blurs. The open-living plan and dining area are situated on the upper floor, with a breathtaking view of the glossy pool area set against the wooded backdrop. Are you thinking that “breathtaking view” is too cliché? Because I genuinely can’t breathe. Are we at a rooftop pool in L.A.? Am I camping in Colorado? Where am I, heaven!? Surely I am, based on the deep green kitchen backsplash and rustic floating shelves.

With three bedrooms and two baths, each room’s warm wooden interior and contrasting white walls effuse a comfortinghyggeeffect. Expansive windows showcase the outdoors, where you can spot wildlife, admire the foliage, and ignore me as I stare at you from the distance, wishing your home were mine. Horizontal planks against the vertical door bring an interesting and visually-stunning element to a simple hallway. Built-in desk nooks and gorgeous vaulted ceilings lend both character and luxury to the layout. The walls, ceilings, and floors are constructed in white oak which, naturally, was sourced from a family-owned mill in Pennsylvania.

With the first glimpse of each new photo of this property, I found myself emitting these weird guttural screeches of freakish longing. Gimme. This. House! Or, at the very least, invite me over for a swim?
