Jennifer Hudson Has a Closet Chandelier Full of Old Hollywood Charm

In a series ofInstagram videos, the singer and actress — alongside her cat, Macavity — reveals an entire room devoted to all things fashion and beauty. And while her two cozy couches and a professional-looking vanity catch attention, it is thestatement-making chandelierdangling from the ceiling that steals the show.

The ornate fixture features oodles of dangling metallic fringe, and is oversized and exaggerated in the best way possible for the space. The chandelier creates a feeling of Old World charm, all while breathing life and vibrancy into the walk-in closet.

During a2012 appearance on “Ellen”, Hudson dished on the “dream closet” she constructed in her Chicago home. Originally a “huge gym with a track around it,” she immediately knew it was the perfect spot for all of her clothes. She wanted a closet “that feels like a boutique in SoHo” and she definitely achieved that. In fact, the star confessed that she spends a great deal of time in the room.

“Now I live in my closet!” she joked. She even had an unveiling of the space, inviting all of her pals to a “closet party” where she cut the bow.
