This Totally Rad Airbnb Will Transport You Back to the ‘80s

All design trends eventually come back around. Right now, tons of ‘80s design trends in particular are staging serious comebacks. People are decking out their bedrooms withchintz, installing walls of glass block, and decorating withterrazzo. But if what youreallylove about the ‘80s were the bright colors and rad pop culture moments, you’ll want to stay the night in this ‘80s-themed Airbnb.

The duplex, calledThe McFly, is located in the Lower Greenville neighborhood of Dallas, Texas. It has two bedrooms, one bathroom, and can sleep six guests. One of the bedrooms even has bunk beds, which was every ‘80s kid’s dream.

The rental is located in a bustling part of Dallas, but you’ll hardly want to leave the house thanks to the Ninja Turtles arcade game and original Nintendo (NES, for those who remember). There are fun ‘80s decor touches throughout, like a crayon bank, a boom box, and aBack to the FutureHoverboard.

One of the most rad parts of the duplex? The dining room, which features diner-style seating and wall art that’s giving us seriousSaved by the Bellvibes.

Based on tons of five-star reviews, it seems like the rental is even cooler in person, which we didn’t think was possible. One Airbnb reviewer said it was “very clean, well organized, and was 1000x better than the photos.” Another, who described it as “pure eye candy,” said it also has an awesome backyard.

Hosts Jeremy and Kelsey are Airbnb Superhosts, so you’re guaranteed to have a gnarly time. The McFly is fun for everyone, no matter what decade you were born.
