As notedon the site, Worldstock was developed to provide local artisans with stable employment, fair wages and working conditions, and access to the global market. The program specifically supports businesses that preserve cultural identities rather than exploit them, and is committed to promoting environmental sustainability. And sinceappropriation is a major concernwhen shopping for a global aesthetic, Overstock’s more responsible approach is something we wish all big box retailers adopted.
