These Food Containers Pro Chefs Love Just Got a Makeover—and We Think It’s Genius

It’s no secret how much we love OXO and the brand’s iconicPOP Containers. The gadget company puts so much thought and experimentation behind every single product, and it shows—every item either solves a problem or generally works to improve life in the kitchen. The POP Containers are probably the most well-known product from the brand, and they’re some of our favorites. (Chefs love them too; we’ve seen them in the pro kitchens at top-notch New York City dining establishments including Loring Place, The NoMad Restaurant, and Eleven Madison Park.)

And yet, after 10 years,OXO has found a way to make the POP Containers even better. Designers and engineers spent a few years working on upgrades to the containers and they just hit stores and websites today! Let’s take a look, shall we?

The containers are now (finally!) dishwasher-safe and have rounded corners for easier pouring. There are also new sets and sizes, and special accessories that attach to the lids. This little scooper has a special hole in the handle, which connects to the special hook on the lid of the container. This way, you don’t have to put your hands into the entire container every time you want to help yourself to some candy.
