Name:StephanieandRyan Sievert
Location:Wicker Park; Chicago, Illinois
Size:approx. 900 square feet
Years lived in:2 years, Rented

Walking intoRyanandStephanie’stop floor Chicago apartment, you are immediately greeted with a wealth of light and music. The stylish, tidily arranged furniture and decor is a direct result of the superb taste shared by the couple. For two years they have inhabited this artful space with their two cats, Meatloaf and Vom.

Ryan is an accomplished and hardworkinggraphic designer. Stephanie is a prolificphotographerof people. The two have created a relaxing space that reflects their creative and warm spirits.

Recently wed, this is the talented duo’s first home together. Wood floors, white walls, tall ceilings, and classic moulding outline the space. Ryan and Stephanie smartly highlight these good bones with mid-century touches and original artwork. Plants are abundant, but judiciously arranged.

This space feels clean and sparse yet full of character and life. The ample light, good music on the record player, and soothing meandering of cats all invites me to stay way too long. And I do.
