Use old luggage for storage

As an organizer, I’m NOT a fan of using plastic storage containers if they are visible. What I do love is using things that have style and history, like old luggage. My closet is so small that I can’t keep my entire wardrobe in it at the same time. I put away the off-season stuff in the luggage to conserve space.

Create a hideaway space for kitchen appliances

I don’t really want to see every electrical appliance that I own on my small kitchen counter top. My solution was to purchase a pantry and run an electrical cord inside to hook up all the appliances.

How to organize office stuff when you don’t have a desk

Where do you put office supplies if you don’t have a desk? Inside another cabinet. This IKEA cabinet is great for storing all sorts of office supplies.

Stash your sewing (or craft) supplies

Think like a New Yorker. You don’t need a sewing ROOM, just a hiding spot for your supplies. I have a fold out table and create a sewing spot whenever I feel like getting crafty.

Store your camping gear in plain sight

I found these great stackable wicker baskets that I packed with all my camping gear. When I’m ready to go, I’m already packed! I just load them up and hit the road.

Add a piece of furniture to your bathroom

Sometimes your bathroom just doesn’t give you enough storage for all your toiletries. In my case, I found a vintage cabinet that fits perfectly for all the small stuff I need to stock.
